Delete it yourself, in the app
If you still have AllPlay installed, this takes under a minute and happens straight away.
- Open AllPlay and sign in.
- Open Settings. On a phone, tap the gear icon in the top bar. On a computer, click your name at the bottom of the left sidebar.
- Scroll to the bottom of Settings, to Delete account.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Type
DELETEin the confirmation box. (In the Swedish interface the prompt asks forRADERA;DELETEis accepted in both.) - Confirm Yes, delete my account.
Your account and its data are erased at that moment and you are signed out. Nothing is queued for later, and there is no grace period in which the account can be recovered.
No app installed? Email us
You do not have to reinstall AllPlay to delete your account. Email us and we will do it for you — it is the same erasure, run through the same process as the in-app button.
Subject: “Delete my account”
Please include:
- the email address your account uses — including an Apple private relay address (
…@privaterelay.appleid.com) if that is how you signed in; - your AllPlay username, if you remember it.
We may ask you to confirm that the address or the account is yours before we delete anything. That check exists so that nobody else can delete your account.
We complete the deletion and reply to confirm within 30 days of verifying the request, and normally much sooner. This is your right to erasure under Article 17 GDPR, and it is free.
What is deleted
Permanently removed from our database and file storage:
- Your profile
- Name, username, profile picture, bio, city, year of birth and skill level, and the rank, credibility score and badges derived from them.
- Your sign-in record
- Your email address, password and any linked Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google identity, plus every active session. Your username is released and may be taken by someone else.
- Your photos and videos
- Match highlights you uploaded and every profile picture you have uploaded, deleted from file storage as well as from the database.
- Your messages
- Your direct messages and the conversations they belong to, and the messages you wrote in match chats.
- Your connections
- Friendships and friend requests, team memberships, team challenges you created, and cup squad entries.
- Your match admin
- Match invitations you sent or received, ball commitments and your stated availability.
- Your notifications
- Push notification tokens, registered devices and anything queued to be sent to you, so we stop contacting you.
- Your progress
- Points and balance, streak, challenge progress, reward claims and referrals.
- Your blocks
- Players you blocked, and blocks made against you.
- Your feedback
- Any feedback you sent us from inside the app.
What is anonymised, and why
Some records are not only about you. A match you played in is also every other player’s record of that match, and a report you filed is part of another person’s moderation history. Deleting those outright would rewrite other people’s records, so they are reassigned to a shared anonymous “deleted user” instead. Afterwards they no longer identify you: your name, handle and picture are gone and nothing on the row links back to you.
- Your participation in matches that have already been played, including check-ins.
- Ratings you gave and ratings you received.
- MVP votes you cast and MVP votes cast for you.
- Matches you created that have already been played. Matches you created that have not kicked off yet are cancelled first, and the players who had joined are notified.
- Safety reports you made, and safety reports made about you.
- Cups you organised and any cup-admin role you granted to someone else. Your link as a cup team captain is cleared.
- Teams you captained: if the team has other members, captaincy passes to one of them and the team survives. If no member remains, the team is deleted.
What we keep, and why
This is the short, honest list. Nothing here identifies you in readable form.
- A keyed hash of your email address — only if a safety report about you was still open
- If someone had reported you and that report had not been decided yet, we keep a one-way keyed hash (HMAC) of your email address against that report — never the address itself, and never in a form we can read back. It exists so a moderator can finish deciding the open report and, where the decision is a ban, stop the same address registering again straight away. The key is held on our server only, access is limited to administrators, and we keep it for 24 months. If no report about you was open, no hash is kept.
- The moderation record
- Safety reports and what we decided about them, for up to 24 months from resolution, so that we can defend legal claims.
- Accounting records
- Where Swedish law requires us to keep them.
- Encrypted backups
- Deleted data remains in encrypted backups until those expire. Backup schedules differ between our database, file storage and hosting providers, so we state one upper bound that covers all of them: up to 90 days. During that window the data is not accessible in the app and is used only to restore a system after a failure.
This cannot be undone
There is no “deactivate” state, no recycle bin and no recovery window. Once the deletion runs, we cannot restore your profile, your photos, your messages, your points or your match history, and neither can you.
Content that other players have already saved or downloaded cannot be recalled. You are free to create a new AllPlay account afterwards, but it starts empty — nothing from the deleted account carries over.
